In Greek, Polymyalgia rheumatica means pain in the muscles. This is an inflammatory disorder which cause stiffness and pain in the muscle in neck, upper arms, shoulders, hips and thighs.

There are no specific cause of Polymyalgia rheumatica. It affects people who are above the age of 50. It causes aching in buttocks, thighs, neck, shoulders etc. The primary symptom of Polymyalgia rheumatica is stiffness with pain.
