The Psoriasis which occurs in the folds of the skin under breasts, under the arms, in the groin and takes a moist red appearance is generally termed as inverse psoriasis. It is often confused with candidiasis.

The patches of inverse psoriasis are usually deep red in color and glittering without any scale. These are soft and smooth patches which are found different from the other psoriasis patches.
