Arthritis is the disease which is characterized by inflammation, pain, swelling in the joints of the body. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and psoriatic are some of the common types of arthritis that are found.
There are few herbs which are proved valuable in treating arthritis. These are Devil’s claw, turmeric, ginger, feverfew etc. Devil’s claw is a African plan and so because of its shape. This herb has proved beneficial for treating rheumatoid arthritis. Similarly, turmeric, ginger and feverfew are also good for arthritis. Ginger is an antioxidant and fights inflammations moreover it also helps in reducing cholesterol levels. Turmeric helps in reducing the pains and treats swelling and inflammation in the joints.
Herbs To Heal Psoriatic Arthritis:
The herbs which are used in treating psoriatic herbs are Black Cohosh, bogbean, Celery seeds, Chapparel, fever few, nettle, saffron and Yucca. These herbs are very powerful anti – diuretic and have anti- inflammatory properties. These are very effective in treating arthritis symptoms. Treating pain, removing or reducing uric acid and treatment of warts and blotches on the skin can be treated easily from these herbs.
Herbs For Arthritis Pain:
Some of the herbs which treat arthritis pain are:
- Nettle Leaves: These are very beneficial leaves which have anti-inflammatory properties and can also reduce swelling in the affected parts. These leaves have boron which is a recommended nutrient for arthritis. These leaves can be eaten raw or can be used for tea.
- Cinnamon: This is a Chinese herb which is used for arthritis. The bark of cinnamon is used for improving the function of spleen and kidney as it is good for improving flow of blood. Hence, it is beneficial in removing the blockages and deposits which can cause pain to arthritis patients.
- Alfalfa: This is the herb containing amino acids which is used in treating a disease similar to arthritis called systemic lupus. Systemic lupus is an autoimmune disease which affects joint pains.
