- Do an extensive research about the holiday spots to finalize the spot. This will give you an idea about the location and the activities you can go for. Internet or a local travel agency will be of great help for you in this task.
- When you travel by bus, train or car, it takes longer time to reach your destination. It is advisable to take small walking breaks during the journey.
- If you are traveling by air, request for a bulkhead or an aisle seat which would allow you to stretch your legs. You can even request for a wheelchair before getting into the plane. Walk occasionally during the flight, this would avoid joint stiffening.

- Don’t forget carrying all the necessary things – your medications, a brief medical history, latest prescription and your physicians contact number. This would be helpful in case of emergency.
- It’s better if you carry luggage on wheels. It is easy to carry and doesn’t exert pressure on your joints.
- Eat a healthy and balanced diet during the vacation.
- Just relax and enjoy completely during sightseeing, shopping, laying at poolside or cruising.
- Lastly don’t forget to wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes.
